ABOUT ME..

I’m Matt Webb, a scenic carpenter, fabricator and digital design specialist based in Margate, Kent. I build sets, props and custom structures for film, TV, theatre, live events and visitor attractions, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern digital tools to deliver accurate, build‑ready solutions.

I integrate that creative experience with technical precision. I use SketchUp for CAD modelling, technical drawings and construction planning, producing clear, measurable designs before fabrication begins. For immersive or complex builds, I create Unreal Engine visualisations to explore lighting, scale, layout and atmosphere in real time — giving production designers and directors a true sense of how a set will feel on camera.

From my workshop in Westwood Industrial Estate, I handle full scenic construction, woodwork, metalwork, sculptural fabrication and custom engineering. On site, I install builds safely, efficiently and with the flexibility required for fast‑moving productions.

Whether it’s a detailed prop, a themed environment or a full set build, I bring accuracy, durability and a problem‑solving mindset — backed by years of creative fabrication experience across film, festivals and large‑scale art projects.
